K.D. Walker is a Turkish American writer. She is currently in the M.F.A. program at the University of Iowa for Literary Translation.

Her work has been published in the LA Times, Electric Literature, and the Threepenny Review. A Pushcart Prize nominee, she has been selected as a Tin House Scholar, Periplus Fellow, and VCCA Residency Fellow.

Originally from California, K.D. is a graduate of Pomona College and the M.F.A. in fiction at Notre Dame. She has been a reader for One Story and has held internships at Electric Literature, Penguin Random House, and Atlantic Records.
