K.D. Walker is a Turkish American writer and Italian translator.

She is an MFA candidate at the University of Iowa in Literary Translation and was the 2025-2026 International Justice Poetry Fellow at Notre Dame.

Her work has been published in the Los Angeles Times, Electric Literature, and the Threepenny Review. A Pushcart Prize nominee, she has been selected as a Tin House Workshop Scholar, Periplus Fellow, and VCCA Residency Fellow.

K.D. graduated from Pomona College and holds an MFA in Fiction from the University of Notre Dame. Formerly, she was a Research Assistant to novelist Jonathan Lethem, a reader for One Story and has held internships at Electric Literature, Penguin Random House, and Atlantic Records.
