K.D. Walker is a Turkish American writer. She is currently the 2025-2026 International Justice Poetry Fellow at Notre Dame and an incoming MFA candidate in Literary Translation at the University of Iowa.
Her work has been published in the Los Angeles Times, Electric Literature, and the Threepenny Review. A Pushcart Prize nominee, she has been selected as a Tin House Workshop Scholar, Periplus Fellow, and VCCA Residency Fellow.
She holds a BA in English from Pomona College and MFA in Fiction from the University of Notre Dame. Formerly, she was the Research Assistant to novelist Jonathan Lethem, a reader for the literary magazine One Story and has held internships at Electric Literature, Penguin Random House, and Atlantic Records.
